Meet the Owner:

Ms. Auburn

What started as an idea has now turned into a reality.

Ms. Auburn has taken her vision and expanded on it to help not just dancers, but all students of all ages build strength, balance and focus in their daily lives as well as their practice. Her goal is to help families and students cope with everyday struggles and stressors through yoga and dance. She believes strongly in the power of nutritious food, a positive mindset and a healthy body. She strives to teach her students the same philosophy- the mind/body connection.

Her journey started years ago when she was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. After seeing many doctors with really no help or answers as to how to alleviate her pain, she took matters into her own hands. Her first step was nutrition. She realized that in order to live a healthy and pain free life, she had to start eating foods that were going to fuel her body instead of foods that would weigh her down.

She soon turned to a holistic lifestyle, which is where she found the power of yoga.

In just a matter of months, the fibromyalgia was gone and her technique as a dancer increased exponentially. That was when she realized that yoga was the backbone not just to dance, but to life!

Ms. Auburn has many years under her belt as a trained dancer and instructor

She is also a registered yoga teacher for kids, adults and trauma informed

She is certified as a RYT-200hr and a RCYT-95hr

Her passion and motivation is helping others feel amazing

The YDC is an extension of the love she has for her students!
