AERIAL YOGA
Strength, Flexibility & Suspension Fitness
Welcome to Aerial Yoga at The Yoga Dance Co. — where traditional yoga meets aerial arts, suspension training, and functional strength.
This beginner-friendly yet dynamic class takes classic yoga poses off the mat and into the air using professionally rigged aerial hammocks. The silk supports your body, allowing you to safely explore:
• Deep stretching and flexibility
• Core strength and stability
• Spinal decompression
• Inversions and balance training
• Grip strength and upper body conditioning
Aerial yoga combines elements of yoga, Pilates, and low-impact strength training to create a full-body workout that builds mobility, body awareness, and confidence.
The hammock assists alignment, supports joints, and allows you to move in ways that may not feel accessible on the mat. You’ll experience both grounding breathwork and playful inversions — all within a safe, structured class environment.
Whether you’re new to fitness, returning after a break, or looking to level up your movement practice, this class meets you where you are.

Aerial Silks, Lyra, Trapeze & Hammock Classes in Glendora
Aerial Arts at The Yoga Dance Co. blends strength, artistry, and confidence through suspended movement in a safe, professionally rigged environment.
Students train on aerial silks, lyra (hoop), trapeze, and hammock while building upper body strength, flexibility, coordination, and resilience. Classes are structured with clear progressions for both kids and adults — from foundational skills to advanced technique.
For students ready to take it further, performance opportunities are offered throughout the year, allowing aerialists to experience stage presence, teamwork, and the confidence that comes from performing in front of a live audience.
Separate classes for youth and adults. Beginner-friendly options available. Kids must begin with our Intro classes.
Baby Bonding
with Aerial Swing
This class is meant for the new parent and baby. The first months and first year can be exhausting and lonely. This class is meant to bring community and stability to each family through yoga, mindfulness and breathing. Please bring a yoga mat and any baby wearing wrap you might have.
Kid’s Hip Hop
Ages 5+
Students will learn the fundamentals and techniques of hip-hop. This class is great for cardio, strengthening and confidence. We work hard, have fun and look forward to performance opportunities!
AERIAL DANCE
Aerial Dance (Hammock)
Aerial Dance (Hammock) blends strength, grace, and creative expression into fluid, suspended choreography. Using the aerial hammock, students learn to connect skills into seamless sequences that build upper body strength, flexibility, musicality, and confidence.
This is more than a tricks class — it’s about flow, control, and storytelling through movement.
Kids Aerial Dance (Ages 6+) focuses on structured choreography, confidence-building, and performance readiness. Students are given performance opportunities throughout the year, helping them develop stage presence, resilience, and pride in their progress.
Adult Aerial Dance offers a powerful combination of creative fitness and artistic movement. Adults build strength and endurance while learning expressive, fluid transitions in a supportive, all-levels environment.

Parent & Me Movement Class (Babies–5 Years)

Aerial Tots is a gentle parent and me movement class designed for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers (ages 0–5). This sensory-friendly class supports early childhood development while strengthening the bond between caregiver and child.
